TENKIL

“ Hizmet Movement and Banishment „
The ruling administration of the period held the Hizmet movement sympathizers responsible for the immense and legal corruption operations carried out by both the judiciary and the police department between 17-25 December 2013. Corruption and bribery operations based on many concrete evidences were described as a ‘judicial coup’ against the government.
Instead of resigning as a requirement of honest and responsible politics and waiting for the verdict of the judicial process, the State and all its Political Institutions started the “GENOCIDE=TENKİL” activity to destroy the Hizmet Movement institutions and its sympathizers.
THE 8 STAGES OF GENOCIDE
Classification Stage
- People are divided as „us and them“. Traitors and patriots. This stage was completed 4 years ago.
Symbolization Stage
- The group considered as an enemy is defined by hate expressions: Assassin, traitor, Fetö… This stage was completed 3 years ago.
Dehumanization Stage
One group denies the humanity of the other group. Members of it are equated with animals, vermin, insects, or diseases. This stage was completed 3 years ago.
Organization Stage
Genocide is always organized. Special army units or militias are often trained and armed… For Turkey, a gang within the government uses the procedure of systematic abduction and torture.
Polarization Stage
Continuous propaganda is carried out to polarize the public. The nation gets divided into groups through expressions such as Alevi, Sunni, Kurdish, Armenian, Gezi supporter, Traitor, Gulenist, etc. The expressions used by the ruling government for years completely polarized the people of the nation.
Preparation Stage
Victims are identified and separated because of their ethnic or religious identity. For this stage, with the support of the Turkish intelligence (MIT), information and blacklists about ByLock downloaders, union members, newspaper and magazine subscribers, Bank Asya depositors, and private school admissions were prepared.
Extermination Stage
The killers see this as an ‘extermination’ because they do not believe their victims to be fully human. This phase started individually. Torture was brought back to life. Thousands of people faced torture while in custody or prison.
Denial Stage
The government’s illegal orders dismissed more than 150 thousand people from their jobs. Nearly 170 thousand people were detained and 90 thousand people were imprisoned. Around 200 media outlets were shut down, and more than 300 journalists and media workers were imprisoned.
